WorkReady

As an experienced adult educator with expertise in workplace communication, I facilitate 60–90 minute immersive sessions that focus on improving communication in the workplace. These sessions do not encourage new or increased AI use; they provide practical guidance for employees who are already using AI informally and without support, helping them navigate workplace challenges in ways that reduce risk and build confidence. I work with employers to identify context-specific challenges and design scenario-based training sessions.

Example Scenario

“I thought I understood.”

A warehouse supervisor gives quick verbal instructions during a busy shift change. The employee nods and says “okay.” Later, the task is done incorrectly. The supervisor is frustrated. The employee feels embarrassed and misunderstood.

What happened?

  • The employee understood most of the instruction.

  • Was unsure about one key detail.

  • Didn’t want to slow the team down.

  • Didn’t want to appear incapable.

I created WorkReady to address challenges employers see on the frontline: capable employees struggle to communicate at work because language barriers and unspoken workplace norms cause misunderstandings, tension and lost productivity.

WorkReady sessions focus on everyday challenges such as asking clarification questions, raising concerns early, responding to negative feedback and navigating misunderstandings through small-group discussion, guided scenarios and reflection.
